Tap & Go Advice

Keep track of your purchases by asking for a receipt whenever you use the card. The very nature of the card and the speed of the transaction may mean this in itself proves to be an inconvenience. However, asking for a receipt will go some way to gauging how much extra you are spending a month.

If you usually do without a daily newspaper for example, you may find an extra £25 as part of your monthly outgoings.

If you need to adhere to a tight budget in order to make it from one payday to the next, the chances are you will smash your budget with a ‘tap and go’ debit card. If counting coins is already working for you, don’t change it!
