There used to be no shortage of mortgage products available on the market. Since the credit crunch, however, many mortgage plans have been withdrawn from the shelves eg. 100% mortgages and many Fixed Rate plans. Irrespective of the housing market slump, there is still a variety of mortgages on offer so it pays to know your ISA from your Interest only.
